Group goes that extra mile for charities

The generous WGMW has again donated a substantial sum to motoring charities.                                                   

Reg and Chris Adamson for GBF

Following this year’s annual driving day and finalisation of accounts, thewesterngroup has been able to give £500 each to WoMAC and the Guild Benevolent Fund.

It follows the usual raffle at the driving event at Castle Combe and included a top up from group funds.

Reg with a grateful Janet from WoMAC  Before he handed cheques to Janet Wilkinson on behalf of WoMAC and Chris Adamson, who received it for the GBF, at the recent SMMT Southern Driving Day, WGMW vice-chairman Reg Burnard said, “The Western Group is delighted to be able to continue the charitable donations it has made over the last 30 years and this year present £500 to such worthy and appropriate causes.”
