This year’s Western Group of Motoring Writers’ Driving Day is now confirmed for Wednesday, May 21, at the Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford, Somerset.
One of the highlights of the automotive calendar, it gives PRs a rare opportunity to get behind the wheel of competitors’ vehicles.
It’s also a chance for Western Group members to drive cars they may not yet have evaluated, and as ever, we’ll be raising money for charities via a raffle and auction.
Last year’s event was a huge success and we had excellent feedback from all attendees. In all, 38 cars from 25 brands were available to drive at DD24 and we welcomed more than 30 guests.
Just like 2024, we’ll use the main paddock and we’ll be based in the museum’s Napier Suite, which gives us access to a large patio area, so we hope that the weather will be kind to us.
